Inspirational Quotes by Joel Osteen

Thank you Yamisweeters for dropping by!

It's such a nice day that we always keep ourselves being motivated and inspired by the things around us.  But not every day is as sunny as summer.  Cloudy and even storms came to our life that can put us down and feel blue.  There are times when we want changes but we can't decide how to do it.  Moving on is a big horror.  Decision is a thunderstorm that you don't want encounter because it is fearful.  Clouds cover  the sunshine as SHAME controls our emotions.  Hard times came when we loose our FAITH and TRUST on ourselves.

On these gloomy days,  inspirational quotes of Joel Osteen are perfect to meditate.  And these are my few favorites.

1. “Nothing in life has happened to you. It’s happened for you. Every disappointment. Every wrong. Even every closed door has helped make you into who you are.” – Joel Osteen

2.“If you want success, if you want wisdom, if you want to be prosperous and healthy, you’re going to have to do more than meditate and believe; you must boldly declare words of faith and victory over yourself and your family.” – Joel Osteen

3.“Stones of judgment, discouragement or doubt may be thrown at you. You can’t stop them, but you can make the choice to keep your walls up and not let them affect you.” – Joel Osteen

4.“No matter what’s happening, choose to be happy. Don’t focus on what’s wrong. Find something positive in your life. Thank God for the small things.” – Joel Osteen

5. “Don’t live worried, frustrated or upset because of what somebody did or what didn’t work out. Come back to a place of peace. It’s not going to work against you; it’s going to work for you.” – Joel Osteen

6. “There is a winner in you. You were created to be successful, to accomplish your goals, to leave your mark on this generation. You have greatness in you. The key is to get it out.” – Joel Osteen

7.  “No matter how dark and gloomy it looks in your life right now, if you’ll release the weight of those burdens, you will see the sun break forth.” – Joel Osteen

8.  “Friend, there’s no greater investment in life than in being a people builder. Relationships are more important than our accomplishments.” Joel Osteen

9.  In difficult times,  we're not supposed to quit believing; we're not supposed to quit growing."--Joel Osteen.

10.“I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude, if you’re grateful, you’ll see God open up new doors.” – Joel Osteen

Petite France: Travel Diary in Seoul, Korea

Bonjour Yamisweeters!!! This post is about the second part of our Day 2-Travel Diary.

Petite France is a small French culture village in Korea.  It's a place where children start to dream as they grow.  In short, ito ay pambata.  Kaya ang WU ay nagbata-bataan muna. LOL!  This place is more of galleries and French culture experience.  We roamed around the village, took a lot of photos and watched one puppet show in Korean Language.  We all caught LSS with O-ma-ma.....O-pa-pa.....!!!   We found a resting place after our so tiring walk at Nami Island.  I don't have much experience to share about this place except for the photos I got.

Enjoy browsing!

House of European Dolls

It looks like I belong to them!

We all recharged after the Jack and the Beanstalk Puppet Show(Lol!)

Nami Island: A Travel Diary

Annyeong Yamisweeters!  I still sound Korean because of my travel hangover.  This is my Day 2 Travel Diary.

I'd like to share to all of you my photos at Nami Island.  But let me first introduce to you the island is all about.

"Nami Island is situated 63km from Seoul in the middle of the Han River.  It looks like a leaf floating gracefully on top of Cheongpyeong Lake.  The island has an area of 460,000sqm and a circumference of 5km.  Formed with pebbles and sand, there are no mountains in the island, but there are trees tall enough to touch the sky.  Wide grassy gardens where deer, ostriches, rabbits, squirrels, ducks and countless types of birds flourish.  Nami Island is a place where not only nature but also human beings can coexist.

Nami Island was named after General Nami, a notable figure in Korean history who courageously fought in battles but died at the age of 26.

Seasonal rain used to transform this land in an island, and with construction of Cheongpyeong dam, it is now and island all year long.  In 1965,  thousands of trees were planted by Mr. Byeong-Do Minn.
Today Nami Island is a place for rest and relaxation.  Human beings, animals and trees share peace, love and harmony far away from crowds and civilization." Source: Leaflets from the ticket Booth

What really thrilled me most at Nami Island was the autumn foliage.  I'd like to photograph the unique colors of leaves as well as the tall trees that you can see when you googled the Nami Island images during autumn.  It was an awesome experience for me.  The only thing that bothered me was the volume of people who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Island.  Sabi nga sa Batangas ay, "Anong dami ng tawo doown(in Batañgueno accent)!!!"  It was Saturday then and I noticed that Korean loves to do outdoor activities.  Most of the visitors of Nami Island are locals.  And mostly are families.  They do picnic, biking and nature tripping.

They have Shuttle Buses going to the Island.  Please see the following details:
