Summer is Here!

It's last day of February and the month of Love passed just like a finger snap. Huh?! Oh well! It means summer is here!  I'm so excited to feel the heat of a summer sun on beaches here in the south. I look forward for the beautiful landscapes plus the happiness of vacation.  I'm smiling while bikinis, tropical fruits and water sports are painting in my mind. Haaayyy! Life is really so beautiful.  A lot to look forward and enjoy the fruit of labor.  For now, we have at least one month to prepare for the "Bakasyon Grande".  What's the first thing in mind during summer?  Of course, our OOTD's in bikinis, sunglasses, fashionable hats, flip flops, colorful cover ups and flawless skin. (Flirty giggle!)

Yey! Let's get ready to trim down some fats to be more confident with our OOTD's and filled your facebook album-Summer 2014. (Oh! yeah!) That's pretty cool!

Remember this photo? (weeeeeeee............)
Summer 2013 at Pico De Loro
This year, I want to add some curve and muscle. I dream to post a photo with front shot.(ha!ha!ha! I'm not losing hope, you know!)

Opppsss! Let me explain.  This is just part of my mid-life crisis.  A longing for being younger and hotter. haha!  Sorry ha! masyado bang iwwww.... and trying hard?  Well! I just want to prove that doing exercise has plenty benefits. That's all! Gayahin nyo na lang.

Join me to bring my dreams into reality.  Please check out these exercises to help burn and add curves.

You don't need to spend money on enrolling in a fitness center just for this summer.  Just wake up a little earlier and devote time for your muscle. The more sets you do the merrier.  Go, print it and start it tomorrow!

Since, I want to focus on my ABS. Naks! Yeah! "belly bulge".   This one's for me.  I tried this set this morning and it make me feel hotter. (hehe!) Because my heart beats a little faster, my muscles are bit tighter and my blood vessels receives some pressure so it helps a good blood circulation. That's why my legs and arms are feel hotter. Sounds healthier, di ba?

And that's one of our goal, to be healthier.  Being sexy is just a side effect of exerting effort to exercise eh.  According to the finance book I am reading now(No Non-sense Personal Finance).  The very first step in achieving financial freedom is to INVEST in ourselves first.  When we do fitness thingy,  we are investing our time and effort to be stronger.  We can be better provider for our family because we are energetic and always on the go.  Hindi tayo putlain at antukin.  We always have energy to answer all the question of our smart kids.  We can deal with burn out parenting because we are physical and emotionally healthy.

But you still want a hard core work out, kasi you have limited time at sobrang inspire kayo sa post ko.(hi!hi!)  Try these other sets.

I have a reminder pala.  Before you do those exercises, you have to warm up first.  Do a little jog or do some ups and downs on your stairs or do the jumping rope until your heart beats a little faster.  Plus stretching like what we learned from our elementary school.

One more thing,  it's also important to add positive thinking.  Tell yourself after you wake up, "I can do these! I can do these! I can do these! Until your mind absorbs it and everything will be an easy pessy work out.

Good luck!!!!

Another important part of being healthy is our food intake.  Never ever skip meal when you attempt to do those  exercises above or else you will be burned out.

Just choose the food you're going to take.  Meaning from now on, choosy ka na sa food.  Hindi yung kung anong ibigay na pagkain sa'yo ay lalantakan mo.  Slow down especially if its "libre".

As I've said before, the very effective food that helps me to reduce fats are Nestle Fitnesse, Fit and Right, saba banaba, sweet potato, fish (no to meat muna), all kinds of vegetables and fruits.  Instead na french fries and burger ang snack ko, banana na lang.  Cheaper pa!  You know dieting is really effective.  You can save a lot of money.  Put into your mind that the money you will save by dieting can be the funds you can use to pay your overdue credit card bills that incur a high interest rates.  So it's a double purpose thingy.  Fit and healthy plus debt free pa!  Or if you don't have utang because you manage well your hard earned money, you can use your saved money to put into an emergency fund or investment fund(e.g. stock market, mutual funds or insurance funds).  That's really cool, isn't! that will be my next post!

So,,,,,are you inspired o lazy duck pa din?  At the end, it's your choice.  Choose to be healthy and happy or lazy and sad. (hihihi)  I'm just motivating, kayang kaya yan. It's for you, no one else! So....... exercise na!

Opppssss! Last thing!  You need an inspiration to do.  Find photos of Anne Curtis,  Bianca Gonzales or Solenn Heussaff and print it.  Put it in a place where you can always see it. For you to inspire every time you do your fitness.

My fitspiration is this Latina beauty Naya Rivera of Glee.  I like the abs na muscle muscle. Hahaha!  Good pose for summer di ba?  Sosyal!!!!!

Go! Go! Go! Let's enjoy life.

Love our Body!

Do you have some inputs for me to achieve that ABS? (wag lang expensive ha! kuripot ako eh!)

Eat That Frog-3rd of my 15 Books to Read

“There just isn’t enough time for everything on our “TO DO” List- and there never will be.  Successful people don’t try to do everything.  They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure they get done.”-Brian Tracy

As a motivation to do my reading goal, I challenge myself to blog each book I read to share some insight and to point out some remarkable quotes and statement in each book. Book report, in short. Haha!

My 3rd book is the International Bestseller “Eat that Frog”-by Brian Tracy.  The author is a professional speaker, trainer and consultant.  He is a self-made millionaire. Also a best-selling author of many books, including Maximum Achievement, Focal Point and the 100 Absolutely Unbreakable laws of Business Success.

This book is actually not on my list because the title implies time management.  I am very confident with it.  I know how to prioritize priority.  Being a working mom is not an easy task and I was able to manage my time for about ten years now.

Until, I realized that I’m approaching to mid-life(no! no!no!) and facing such crisis.  May mga bagay na dapat ginagawa ko pero hindi ko na nagagawa dahil sa dami ng gusto kong gawin. Huh?!! So I picked this book and hoping that it will help me a more.

Since it’s a small book I finished it in one night only.  I got interested with how Brian Tracy laid down twenty-one great ways to stop procrastinating and get more things done faster.

Let me share to you what I’ve learned from this book.  Here are my favorite statements that wakes me up and keeps me motivated to be more productive and efficient.

1.     The Power of a Written Goal

The author’s advice: Decide exactly what are your goals.  Write it down.  Set a deadline and make a list of everything you have to achieve your goals.  Organize the list into a plan.  Take action.  Resolve to do something that moves you toward your major goal.

2.     Plan Everyday in Advance

“Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.”-Alan Lakein

Brian Tracy said, I should practice the Six-P Formula everyday.

"Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance"

The first 10% of time that you spend in planning can save as much as 90% of the time in getting your job done.

3.     Focus on Activities, Not Accomplishment

Author’s advice: Give attention to the most valuable tasks and do it first during the day and all low valuable tasks can be done easy pessy or maybe not need to be done at all.

4.     Long-term thinking improves short-term decision making

“Losers try to escape from their fears and drudgery with activities that are tension-relieving.  Winners are motivated by their desires toward activities that are goal-achieving.”-Denis Waitley

5.     Set priorities and posteriorities

Author’s advice: “Cut down television watching and instead spend the time with your family, read, exercise or do something else that enhances the quality of your life.”

6.     “The first law of success is concentration- to bend all the energies to one point, and to go directly to that point, looking neither to the right nor to the left.”-William Matthews

According to the author, take action immediately.  Eat the whole frog and don’t stop until it’s finished completely.

7.     Poor Performance produces Procrastination

Author’s advice: Make a habit of doing analysis regularly for the rest of your career.  Never stop improving.  This decision alone can change your life.

8.     Work all the Time you Work

“Keep your life balance”, Brian Tracy said.  It’s the quality of time at work that counts and the quantity of time at home matters.  By not working effectively and efficiently during workday, you create unnecessary stress and deprive the members of your family of the very best person you can possibly be.

9.     Launch towards your Dreams

Author’s advice: Get started.  Do the first thing.

The biggest enemies we have to overcome on the road to success are not lack of ability and a lack of opportunity but the fears of failure and rejection and doubts that they trigger.  So to overcome the fears “do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain”-Emerson

10. Take it one step at a Time

Author’s advice: A great life or a great career is built by performing one task at a time, quickly and well and then go to the next.

Financial independence is achieved by saving a little money every single month, year after year.  Health and fitness are accomplished by just eating a little less, exercising a little more, day after day and month after month.

11. Never stop Learning

According to the author, upgrading your skills is one of the most important personal productivity principles of all.  Learn what you need to learn so that you can do your work in an excellent fashion. Everything is learnable.  And what others have learned, you can learn as well.

“The more you learn and know, the more confident and motivated you feel.  The better you become, the more capable you will be of doing even more in your field.  The more you learn, the more you can learn.  Just as you can build your physical muscles through physical exercise, you can build mental muscles with mental exercises.  And there is no limit to how far or how fast you can advance except for the limits you place on your imagination.”

12. Do what you Love to Do

Author’s advice: You should always focus your best energies and abilities on starting and completing those key tasks that your unique talents and abilities enable you to do well and that make a significant contribution.  You cannot do everything, but you can do few things in which you excel, the few things that can really make a DIFFERENCE.

13. Identify your key Constraints

The author said: In your own life, you must have the honesty to look deeply into yourself for the limiting factor or limiting skill that sets the speed at which you achieve your own personal goals.   Keep asking, “What sets the speed at which I get the results I want?”

14. Put the Pressure on Yourself

Author’s advice:  Always look for the ways to go the extra mile, to do more than you are paid for.

15. Overworking Can Mean Underproducing

Author’s advice:  The more you tried you become, the worse the quality of your work will be and the more mistakes you will make.  At a certain point, you can reach “the wall” and simply be unable to continue, like a battery that is run down.

16. Develop Positive Mental Attitude

Author’s advice:  You should talk to yourself positively all the time to boost your self-esteem.  Say things like “I like myself! I like myself!” over and over until you begin to believe it and behave like a person with a high-performance personality.

17. Get out of the Technological Time Sinks

His advice: For you to calm, clearheaded, and capable of performing at your best, you need to detach on a regular basis from the technology and communication devices that can overwhelm you if you are not careful.

18. Develop a compulsion to Closure

He said: The bigger the task you start and complete, the better and more elated you feel.  The bigger the frog you eat, the greater the surge of personal power and energy you experience.

19. Make every minute count

“Nothing can add more power to your life than concentrating all of your energies on a limited set of targets.”- Nido Qubein

20. Do it Now

His advice: “If you feel yourself slowing down or becoming distracted by conversations or low-value activities, repeat to yourself the words “Back to work! Back to Work! Back to work!” over and over again.

21. Self-Discipline is the Key

He said: Success in any area requires tons of discipline.  Self-discipline, self-mastery and self-control are the basic building blocks of character and high performance.

This book is for my husband.  He’s the one who really needs author’s advice.

My best learning is how to FOCUS.  Be motivated and goal oriented.

Sacrifice now and success later!

Starting over Again

This month of love seems so hectic for me.  I started out with 3M1D’s very first client.  And the following weeks focused on the target date to deliver the products (photos, album and video) plus editing and lay outs.  And finally, I’m done with the album.  I’ll wait for 4-7 days for printing then dyarrrrannnn, ready for delivery.  So I have to go back to my love,,,,,it’s blogging.  It’s my ultimate goal, to write and express more.  I know I have problems with grammar and composition. Yeah,,, but that’s what I want to improve.  I really want to write beautifully (dreaming!). Why not???? So here I am again ruining your day with my stories that are usual and for some it’s boring.  But for me, it’s exciting!  Pagbigyan nyo na ako, pls.

I want to you share to you my weekend date.  My friends and I were always planning for a meet up since last year pa. They are living in Batangas City, working and mother too so having a time to catch up is so rare and needs future planning and scheduling.  We had several attempts but always failed.  I said to them, by hook or by crook, cancel all your schedules and let’s meet to watch “Starting Over Again”.  Meet half-way so no excuses with the place.  I’m from Manila and they’re from Batangas City.  Lipa City is the most convenient place.  The date came and thanks God we finally meet at SM Lipa.  We had a short snack at Old Spaghetti House.  I like the interior design of the restaurant.  Lately, I notice myself I have keen eyes for interiors. Hmmmmm!  Bakit kaya??? I'm conscious with the interior of every place I visit.

I love their chairs!

I love the wall decors!

We tried the Trio Treat.
Appetizer Basket: Onion Rings and Calamares
Pesto for Pasta
Supremo for Pizza
A pitcher of Iced Tea

With our lovely smiles

Picture picture of course
Pasimple lang kaya by two's ang photos! hehe

After the short snack we head to the movie house and the que is too long.  We decided to go for the next screening time until we urge to follow the looooong line.  Of course as expected we seated at the staircase and literally brushing shoulders.
The movie is so entertaining and I didn’t notice the people always having excuses for passing in and out.  I didn’t mind also my position that my knees feel little pains. Hahaha! Tumatanda na kasi.

It was such a nice story.  A story of moving on!  Yun ang uso ngayon eh, MOVING ON!  Don’t hang on with the past because we can always “Start over Again”. And we can see what future will bring to a happier YOU.

We also had a nice laugh to the character of Ginny and a lot of tears too.  Yeah, I admit mababa ang luha ko sa mga stories palagi akong nakakarelate eh.  If you haven't watch it, try! It's a feel good movie.

After the movie, we still have time to have a coffee to continue the chika minute.  So many to talk about.

Oh! I love it!

Sya ang taya sa coffee! hehehe!

This is so cute!

My friends I feel so comfortable with
Being with them is such a great feelings.  I can be myself.  I can talk the way I want.  I can share my opinion without worries that they will judge me for whatever I will say.  They will correct me if I'm wrong.  I'm confident that they accept me for whoever I am.  They are proud and happy for me.  That's it!  Even if we don't see each other always, we feel at ease with each others company.  I always look for a moment to talk with them personally.  I found sincere happiness with them.

I drove home past 8:00 pm. While driving alone, I felt the refreshed emotion though I'm physically tired because of hormonal imbalance.  I gained myself again after so many things to attend.  It's an ice breaker.

What a beautiful and meaningful day for me!

I got to attain again my focus on things I have to do.  After all busyness,  I can start over again with my daily routine.  My exercise, blogging, reading and learning!

I have to catch up with my reading goal.  My third and fourth of fifteen books to read.  Due for this month of February. Rock on!

Of many things I want to do, I need to learn how to eat my frog and learn more about finances.

You,,,, how can you start over again????

My Wings to Fly

This is iiiiiiiit! At last, me and my team(Mommy Rochie, Mommy Jade and Daddy Erwin) finally started the partnership that we never believe that it may happen.  But with the trust of a friend, we've got to kick the passion into earning.  Forgive me, but I'm so excited and happy to share that I pursued my enthusiasm into capturing the special moments of people I may not know.  Yeah! I believe I have more to learn in a process but God knows how eager I am to pursue the passion and realise my purpose.

Please check out some of our work of art.  For some it may be a beginner's work but for me it's the greatest ever.  I may improve to a lot better(sooooo optimistic!). This event is our wonderful and will never be forgotten labor.

It's Iana's 7th Birthday
